I work with patients, clinicians and researchers at Western Health to co-design and develop a digital self-management intervention for people undertaking inpatient stroke rehabilitation.
The work combines an accessible Android patient app with a clinician app for Windows, macOS and Linux. Patient and clinician feedback has directly shaped the interfaces, rehabilitation workflows and local, offline-friendly technical design.

A Stroke Foundation Future Leaders Grant supports my research into how technology can improve life after stroke. The grant has helped me connect with researchers, developers and people with lived experience in Australia and internationally, with survivor voices shaping the questions and the technology.
This work includes virtual reality and artificial intelligence for speaking practice and research into how people with aphasia use, or could use, AI to pursue their own goals.
